Originally built in 1926 by developer Glen Curtiss as part of Country Club Estates the Miami - Battle Creek Sanitarium operated from 1930 - 1959. Caption on front: Miami-Battle Creek Miami Springs, Florida Written on back: Thursday. Dear Harold & Don & all: We arrived at Coral Gables at 11:30 Dr. Kellogg had three cars waiting for us. As soon as we arrived we were all given a glass of orange juice and Dr. talked to us for a few minutes, then we were all assigned to our rooms. We have a nice room twin beds private bath room, desk and everything to make us comfortable. Had dinner at six. Going to lecture tonight. Will write a letter tomorrow.
