dc.description Postcard showing Dr. John Harvey Kellogg lecturing from behind a podium to patients at the Battle Creek Sanitarium. Kellogg had a once-weekly lecture at which he answered questions and promoted healthy lifestyle choices. Caption on front:WEEKLY QUESTION BOX BATTLE CREEK SANITARIUM Written on back: Oct 3, 41 Friday forenoon Dear Folks: Stayed overnight at Coldwater. Thought Id' drive up to see my old stomping ground at Fort Custer ad the Sanitarium. Neither is what they used to be. Dr. Kellogg and the old wood barracks are gone. Lots of new painted and individually heated barracks buildings now. Most of the soldiers are away on maneuvers. Love from Paul J. Must be back at work Monday. Sent on: October 3 1941 Sent to: Mrs. J. F. Thomas, 607 Walker St. Sturgis, Mich. en_US
