dc.description Postcard with a photo showing people rowing on a river. Stamped on the back is a message touting the "Battle Creek Sanitarium System" illustrating the fame of the Battle Creek Sanitarium. This card was probably an advertisement for the Tacoma Park Sanitarium, using Battle Creek methods. Many health resorts tried to use the Battle Creek name to attract patients, but were not formally affiliated with the Battle Creek Sanitarium. Caption on front: A Scene at Tacoma Park, S.D. Caption on back: Sanitarium Bath and Massage Parlors The Battle Creek Sanitarium System is knows the world over, yet the use of these NATURAL AGENTS to one unacquainted with their scientific application seems WONDERFULLY SIMPLE but the results obtained from them when understandingly employed are SIMPLY WONDERFUL Try Them EDNA M.
