dc.description Postcard showing a photo of the Verona Mills building on the Battle Creek River, three miles north of downtown. Written on back: This is one of the oldest flouring mills in the country, and is still in operation. When a very small boy the owner of the automotive (standing at the door) rode with his father up to this same door with a grist of wheat and shelled corn to be ground for family use. A toll of both paid for grinding. (Old Time Picture #48) en_US
