dc.description Postcard showing a drawing of the Grand Trunk Railroad Depot, 175 Main Street, Battle Creek. This large depot was designed by the architectural firm of Spier and Rohns and built in 1905 at a cost of $100,000. It was used as a passenger station by the Grand Trunk Railroad until 1971 when passenger service was taken over by Amtrak. The building was used as office space until 1988 when it was taken over by the Community Action Agency to be used for regional human service programming.
