Color postcard showing the lagoon and paths at Irving Park, c. 1924. Irving Park was a gift to the city by industrialist Irving L. Stone. Designed by landscape architect T. Clifton Shepherd, it contained a rock garden and lagoons and was dedicated in 1924.

Written on back: July 30, 1924. Dear Mabel:- You see I am still lounging around Battle Creek; am taking Osteopathic treatments which takes some time. Thought I would drop in to see you so if convenient Mildred and I will come Sunday afternoon and stay until Monday eve. when [illegible] will drive down after us if nothing happens.
