Written on back: 22 W. Territorial Road Battle Creek, Mich. Sep. 23 Dear Anna - Fred is not improving very fast. He gains strength slowly and still sees double when looking with both eyes. We hope to have glasses fitted to his eyes. It is 4 weeks now since he was taken sick. We were so glad to see you & your mother the day of the funeral.
