Built in 1914, the Neo Classical Revival styled building was designed by Ernest W. Arnold and built at a cost of $305,000. It is currently listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Caption on front: New City Hall, Battle Creek, Mich. Written on back: Dear Lillie - Our baby arrived 2.15 Feb. 19 her name is Frances Adelse and he weighed 9 lb. and is doing fine so is Ada we are pretty [illegible] we are all real well.
