Caption on back: French Bulldog The French Bulldog has much to recommend him as a house dog, being small, well=mannered, affectionate, clean, alert, playful and lively - but not too lively - and very intelligent. Also these dogs have another characteristic which endears them to many people: they bark very little. French Bulldogs, have several distinctive features, notably their "bat" ears, which are found in no other dogs. The breed is thought to have developed from the toy variety of English bulldog and become popular in America in the early years of this century. French Bulldogs are usually brindle, fawn, white, brindle and white, or black and brindle, and weigh approximately 22 to 28 pounds. Some authorities assert that theya re closely related to the Boston terrier. - Be sure to get the complete series of Dog pictures - one in every package of Kellogg's Krumbles and Shredded Wheat - and the attractive album in which they may be pasted.
