dc.description Color postcard showing a photo of the factory at the Kellogg Toasted Cornflake company. The Kellogg Toasted Corn Flake Company was founded in 1906 by W. K. Kellogg, using a process developed at the Battle Creek Sanitarium of soaking grain and then rolling and baking it to provide a thin, toasted flake which was marketed as a healthy alternative breakfast food, c. 1961. Caption on back: Kellogg Company Battle Creek, Michigan Kellogg's is the world's largest manufacturer of ready-to-eat cereals with plants strategically located here and abroad. Thus the saying "Wherever you find people you will find Kelloggs."
