dc.description Postcard showing a photo of the First Presbyterian Church located on the NE corner of West Main (now West Michigan Avenue) and McCamly Streets. This building was dedicated in February, 1896 and served the congregation until 1928 when a new Church was dedicated on Capital Avenue, Northeast. Caption on front: First Presbyterian Church and Elks Temple, Battle Creek, Mich. Written on back: Dear Jessie How are you these fine days. I am working like everything working at Postum nights from 3 to 11 this week ends [illegible] and then am going on days. I like it real well.
