This building was dedicated in February, 1896 and served the congregation until 1928 when a new Church was dedicated on Capital Avenue, Northeast. Caption on front: First Presbyterian Church and Elks Temple, Battle Creek, Mich. Written on back: Dear Jessie How are you these fine days. I am working like everything working at Postum nights from 3 to 11 this week ends [illegible] and then am going on days. I like it real well.
