dc.description	Postcard showing a photo of the Seventh Day Adventist "Dime Tabernacle" before the fire that destroyed it on January 7, 1922. Dedicated on April 20, 1879, the $26,275 cost of building the church was raised by donations of a dime a month from members. It could seat 3,200 people. The Dime Tabernacle was located on the corner of West Main (now West Michigan Avenue) and North Washington Street, facing McCamly Park. Caption on front: Adventist Tabernacle, Battle Creek, Mich.
