dc.description Postcard showing a photo of Community Hospital, opened on September 12, 1938. Community Hospital originated as the Nichols Memorial Hospital. Community operated until 1988 when it merged with Leila Y. Post Montgomery Hospital and became the Battle Creek Health System. Caption on front: General Hospital from Irving Park, Battle Creek, Mich. Written on back: Dear Folks, While were waiting for the concert I'll write you my daily card. We had a wonderful time in Detroit & incidentally gave a very fine concert. if I do say so myself. We stayed at Ann Arbor and were royally entertained by the KE boys there for a couple of hours. This is a nice little city & I find I remember a good deal of it from that trip from Northport. I'm fine - hope you are! Love, Don Sent to: Mrs. W. A. Everhart Box 564 Granville, Ohio Sent on April 5, 1938 en_US
