Community operated until 1988 when it merged with Leila Y. Post Montgomery Hospital and became the Battle Creek Health System. Caption on front: Community Hospital, Battle Creek Michigan Caption on back: Community Hospital Battle Creek, Michigan Established in 1998, by a few women interested in helping the needy, who formed the "Charitable Union". From 1889 to 1938 known as Nichols Hospital". September, 1938 moved to present convenient location in beautiful Irving Park. Construction in unique "Y" design. en_US
