dc.description Color Postcard showing a photo of the Sanitarium Villa at Goguac Lake, c. 1909 The Villa was a recreation facility for Sanitarium guests where guests were able to swim, boat, and hike. The Villa was located on the hill on the northeast corner of Goguac Lake, now served by Hiawatha Drive. Caption on front: Sanitarium Villa, Lake Goguac, Battle Creek, Mich. Written on back: Dear ones at home: Home all O.K. You worked all the p.m. & so did I. Had nice fresh eggs for breakfast this morning. Millie how do your [illegible] fit. I discovered I had gathered up one of yours & one of mine when I got home. Both for the same foot. I guess one pair is about as good as the other. Wear them if you can. [illegible] slippers were left, too. Mr. Youngs is alive and getting better. Jessa Sent to: Mrs. Wm. Donnelly Hillsdale Mich rural No 2 Box 23: Sent on: December 6, 1909 en_US
