Postcard showing a farmhouse, barn and windmill, presumably near Battle Creek, c. 1909
Written on back: Battle Creek, Mich. 3.19.09 My dear Vio, Having been thinking to send you a nice long letter but will send this as a reminder for fear you will forget me Was glad to learn you had not forgotten me. Wish you were here this minute. How I would ask you to sing for me. I remember so well your kindness & have a picture in my ind of your pleasant home nor have I forgotten the good things to eat & how restful it seemed there. This is where I am now. The two women are my daughters and two men are their husbands. The children my grandchildren. Others are friends. Had a nice long letter from [illegible]
