dc.description The former Cooks Prairie School near Homer received a new life in 1947 as the Cook's Prairie Church parsonage. The church purchased the building for $3,300 after the school's consolidation with Homer. Both school and church were named for the family of Henry Cook, with settled the land in 1832. en_US
