The team received regular coverage in the Battle Creek press — the champs in October 1914 even hosted a Montreal team whose lineup included "Johnnie Orr, the Ty Cobb of Soccer." The Battle Creek team had played in Montreal the previous year, losing 4-0 but winning the praise of soccer critics who wrote that "the Grand Trunk aggregation was the best 'foreign eleven that ever played on home grounds.'"	en_US
