This photo shows the exterior of Corlett Lumber Co. at 182 Elm St.. The business was founded by Meryl G. Corlett on Bartlett Street and moved to Elm Street during the Great Depression. He sold the business in 1963, and it changed hands a few times before its eventual closure decades later. Corlett was a longtime officer of Peoples Savings & Loan Association. He died May 13, 1980.
