An audience for the second Post Band concert of the season enjoys the show at Leila Arboretum on July 17, 1975. The Post Cereals Band, one of several names the band worked under, performed its first concert series in 1923. It was founded by David L. Steadman, who worked in the Post Cereals Grain Mill from 1916 to 1937, and head miller Archie N. Merchant as the Korn Klub band. Later names included Postum Cereal Band and the Post-Carton & Container Band. |
