Firefighters battle a blaze at the Pennfield Grange Hall at the corner of M-66 and St. Mary's Lake road on July 15, 1974. Damage was severe to the second floor and attic of the 100-year-old structure, which the Enquirer and News reported may have been the work of an arsonist, although no charges were ever reported in the newspaper. The grange operated through 1973. |
