dc.description St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church organized in 1907, but it wasn't officially incorporated under its present name until 1928, after an earlier St. Paul's in Battle Creek changed its name to Trinity Lutheran Church. St. Paul's members purchased the property at the corner of Northeast Capital and Garrison avenues in 1936 and built a parsonage there in 1937. They dedicated the present church on Oct. 16, 1949. The educational and recreational wings were added in 1962. en_US
