The Assyria Gospel Church gets a new steeple ahead of its 1973 centennial celebration. The 32-foot steeple, a duplicate of the original, was built by parishioner Charles Snyder. The church was at the intersection of M-66 and Tasker Road, 15 miles north of Battle Creek.
