dc.description The former U.S. Post office at the corner of West Michigan Avenue and South Division Street would eventually find new life as the Calhoun County Hall of Justice and later as the Commerce Pointe office building, but residents in May 1971 worried that the building designed by architect Albert Kahn might be destined for the wrecking ball. Uses envisioned for the 31,000-square-foot building included a visitor's bureau, an art center, an industrial museum and a conference center. en_US
