The Kellogg Company provided free day care and medical care for the children of employees during the 1920's. Caption on front: Nursery - Kindergarten. Kellogg Company Battle Creek, Michigan Caption on back: The Kellogg Company has equipped a nursery kindergarten for the care of employee's children free of charge. Dental, medical and nutritional attention combine in building healthy, happy little citizens. Written on back: Oct. 27, 1926 Dear Friend: We visited their food plant and saw them making corn flakes and the boxes which they used. They have 100 acres covered with buildings & an athletic field.
