dc.description Color postcard showing the Daily Moon building, located at 18 Tompkins Street near the SE corner of Tompkins and West Michigan Avenue, c. 1915. This building housed several publishing companies, including the Daily Moon and the Pilgrim Magazine. It was razed by the Battle Creek Enquirer to build a parking lot. Written on back: March 7, 1911 Dear Mother & Father I may get my self once more to drop you a few lines & we are all well as usual out here Hope you are well and why don't you write I sent you a letter and a Valentine and have had one reply We are going to move in our own house next week may move to Detroit in April Why can't you come out Joe hes got moved now here had the [illegible] family 3 weeks With love to all from all Lizzie Sent to: Miss Sara E.
