Description:
Southeastern Junior High School, built on a site provided by W.K. Kellogg, began accepting students in February 1932. The building, with a capacity of 700 students, and Southwestern Junior High School, which had been completed in 1928, half-finished the school board's goal of a school four junior highs in the city's quadrants.
