dc.description	The Bailey Building — a Bank Corners landmark for more than a century — got a new owner, it was reported in the Sept. 30, 1983, edition of the Enquirer and News. Robert McKinney, a real estate investor from Gull Lake, purchased the building from Michigan National Bank, the paper reported. McKinney said he had plans to remodel the building at the southeast intersection of East Michigan Mall and Capital Avenue, adding 13 senior citizen apartments. The Bailey Building had been owned by Fred Hamlin, who was stabbed to death in August 1980 in his apartment in the building. Lois Fulcher was convicted of second-degree murder in the death and sentenced to 10-20 years in prison.	en_US
