Photographs from the Security National Bank tower in February or March 1981 document progress on McCamly Square and Stouffer Hotel construction. The project was the subject of frequent updates by the Enquirer and News, which on March 8, 1981, published a profile by reporter Stan Kaufman of project manager Michael Assarian, whom the paper called "A sheep in wolf's clothing" because of the contrast between his hard-driving work style and his love of opera and gourmet cooking. |
