dc.description	The members of the Battle Creek Wesleyan Church at 799 Capital Ave. SW dedicated the steeple of their church on Nov. 18, 1973, and burned a $12,000 mortgage note at the same ceremony. The steeple was the product of a 12-month project of soliciting funds and collecting 9,300 pounds of glass sold for recycling. The sale generated $100 toward the $600 project.	en_US
