dc.description A violent storm front that produced deadly tornadoes from Chicago and across lower Michigan caused extensive damage across Battle Creek and surrounding communities. The storms hit at about 8:30 p.m Friday, April 21, 1967, in Battle Creek, while in Chicago the system was blamed for scores of deaths, including nine students. en_US
